After I posted the first part of this list on Wednesday, I began focusing in on 1 Kings 8:56 that afternoon. Before I started to memorize that passage, I wanted to get a better understanding of what was happening in the passage. FAITH BUILDING VERSES, PT. 1

Each week we have a meeting that includes all of our church staff and one of us will share a brief devotional. Last week our devotion was done via FaceTime by Ruffin and at one point, he had Pastor Doug recite Nahum 1:7; “The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him.” Ruffin said something after this that stuck with me.
